How does Sentry work?

Sentry is a compact set of sensors placed inside the home that process the ambient light, sound, and temperature, and pass the digitized information to a central hub, where a software program uses a sophisticated algorithm to determine activity patterns, falls and intrusions.

Fall or intruder alerts are then transmitted to the cloud immediately for additional processing and to message or call family members, caregivers or emergency personnel to seek help. Activity summaries are transferred to the cloud at regular intervals to analyze patterns and prepare daily, weekly and monthly activity reports and a fall risk report.

Unlike pendants, watches or other devices that you may forget to carry or wear while at home, Sentry is unobtrusive, always-on and does not require you to do anything.
